If we are to travel it is not only important to order our documentation, check-in and any other preprocessing but also to check that our hand luggage meets the requirements in order to avoid problems in the gate. If you have chosen the company Ryanair, we recommend you follow the instructions on hand luggage from Ryanair. In Ryanair you are only allowed one piece of hand baggage per passenger. Hand luggage must weigh up to ten kilos and not exceed the dimensions of 55 x 40 x 20 cm. If you have extra cabin luggage, it will be rejected in the boarding area and you’ll have to pay an average of 50 euros per item for them to be transferred to the hold of the aircraft.

Ryanair Tail Logo

Ryanair Flight

This can also occur with a traveling object that is not appropriate to bill, such as a musical instrument exceeding the dimensions of hand luggage. In that case, you can book an extra seat. Enter the word ITEM SEAT as name under EXTRA when you make the purchase of the ticket. Whereupon EXTRA ITEM SEAT will appear both on the reservation and in the boarding pass. Please note that discounts for large families and residents are not applicable to extra seating and there will be billing or baggage compartment assigned to the payment of an extra seat.

Ryanair Takeoff

Ryanair Landed

We also check our hand luggage meets the requirements of items allowed. If we are to carry liquids they must be in individual containers not exceeding 100 ml and be packaged in resealable plastic bags that do not exceed the dimensions of 20 × 20 cm. Acceptable liquids include creams, syrups, lotions, perfumes, shaving cream, deodorant, toothpaste, shower gel, sprays and others of similar consistency.

Ryanair Plane interior

In the Ryanair hand luggage we can take medicines for our use but we keep them out of the resealable bags so that security checks can review without problems. A solution to the problem of having to put everything in one suitcase and that this will not happen according to permitted standards, would if we wish, be acquiring a Samsonite F’Lite hand suitcase. It is the one that is guaranteed by the airline to be accepted as hand luggage on all flights of Ryanair.

Samsonite F’Lite closed

Samsonite F’Lite open

Although not related to hand luggage, it is important to know that with Ryanair if you exceed the weight limit of turnover in your luggage you will have to pay an excess baggage charge costing an average of 20 euros per kilo. Also, if one of the passengers is a baby you cannot have a bag for it but you can bring a folding chair without any extra payment.

The baptism of diving is a sport that will allow you to relax and feel virtually weightless, an experience similar to that of being a fish in the sea. In Murcia you can explore the marine world for the first time and securely being part of a baptism of diving. The baptism of diving and diving in general is a simple activity that can people starting from 12 years old can make and that is usually a fun experience when done with a group of friends or family. This activity will lead you to an average of five feet depth to discover the underwater world.

Murcia Sunset

Murcia Diving Boat

First thing we do is to prepare the equipment, receive safety instructions, guidance equipment and then proceed to mobilize to the destination where you will be baptism diving. In Murcia you can do this activity in the bay of Cabo de Palos and La Manga Creek where one of the companies providing this service is Balkysub Diving School.

Baptism Diving

The dive school is located in the Souk Mall, Gran Via de la Manga of Murcia and offers a diving session lasting forty to fifty minutes with the total activity lasting three hours for a price of 75 euros per person. Keep in mind that the baptism of diving is subject to weather conditions so it is always possible that the date was rescheduled for your safety. You must have swimsuit and towel with you.

The Expoción Internaciol 1998 and the rapid growth of Lisbon as a tourist destination has made the city develop many places to stay. The three main types of accommodation in the city are hotels, pensions and guest houses. Pensions and Guest Houses differ in that pensions serve meals while the guest house does not. Both are officially classified as 1 to 3 stars. The most basic have only a sink in the room, the more sophisticated can include bathroom and TV. Generally both include breakfast. You can find prices from 10 euros.

Lisbon Borges Hotel

Lisbon Accommodation

Most pensions and guest houses are located in the central part of the city. In some cases the same building can accommodate more than one of these places. The most popular and noisy are north of La Baixa, around the squares of Rossio, Restorers and Da Figueira. The cheapest are in the street parallel to the central Avenida da Liberdade. The 1 star hotels are equivalent to three star pensions while the 2 star are significantly better. The 3 star even have air conditioning and mini bar. In the cheapest hotels it is common to have TV but with only Portuguese channels. The 3 stars do have some cable and satellite channels. Prices are between 30 and 150 euros.

Hotel Acores Lisboa

The main luxury hotels feature everything you would expect from one. Prices per night are 200 to 250 for 4 stars and above the 250 euros for a 5 star. They are usually on the outskirts of the city, particularly those located in palaces. The most modern are in the suburb of Lapa and financial area of Saldanha.

Lisbon Palace

The high season is during Easter and summer. Rooms are limited and prices are high. Therefore it never hurts to say you need to book in advance. It is advisable to reconfirm the reservation a few days in advance or request for written warranty. Many places during peak season arrive to deny existing reservations.

Lisbon Pestana Palace

One of the suggested stops in your travels through Germany while visiting the impressive, modern and historic capital city of Berlin is the famous Pergamon Museum, a tourist destination par excellence which has gained eternal fame for the Gates of Babylon known as Ishtar Gate in Germany!

Pergamon Museum

Pergamon Museum Berlin

Practically our goal to visit the famous Pergamon Museum in the capital city of Germany, is to reach the monumental Ishtar Gate commonly known by those who visit for the first time as The Gates of Babylon. It is a set of eight large doors which even exceed 14 meters tall and 10 meters wide. Quite impressive! In order to get an idea about what I speak this imaginary history dates back to 575 BC built by the famous Nebuchadnezzar II who ordered to build adobe bricks polished and painted mostly by the blue, drawing fierce mythological creatures silhouettes on them.

Pergamon Museum Visitors

To travel to Mexico you do not have the obligation to applyto yourselves some kind of vaccine and there is no need to have any international vaccination certificate for the trip. However, being a country with extensive vegetation areas there are a number of recommended vaccines to avoid unpleasant surprises.

Mexico Urlaub

Within the recommended vaccinations for travel to Mexico are the vaccine against dengue, a disease that is transmitted by the bite of mosquitoes and can be fatal, the vaccine against hepatitis A and hepatitis B only applicable if we have not previously had these diseases and the typhoid fever vaccine, ideal for tropical destinations territories where there may be low and poor hygienic handling of food to generate an infectious focus.

Mexico Sunset near Whiterock overlook

Another recommended vaccine is for tetanus and diphtheria, the same as for protecting our health we should all apply ourselves because it is a worldwide disease that can be caused by infection of a wound, sting or burn.

Mexico Winter

Finally, it is important to note that in Mexico’s rural areas there is risk of malaria. Although these are not popular tourist destinations like Oaxaca and Chiapas, this vaccine is recommended for everyone.

Mexico Mayas

However, you can expect excellent quality of service in most hotels in the country. The high season on the coast is from June to August and in the case of mountain hotels, between December and March. 15% VAT is added to the bill and the room service is usually included.

Pensions

Usually businesses run by families. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the famous Cypriot hospitality and cuisine. Most are located in Nicosia, Limassol, Paphos and Larnaca.

Cyprus Sunset

Campsites and Caravans

In Cyprus there are seven spaces for camping. They are separate spaces for tents and caravans. Most have bathrooms, laundry, mini supermarket and a restaurant or bar. One night costs between 1 to 2 euros per person plus additional costs for the stay such as food or services. Only two sites are open all year, Kalymnos (Limassol) and Feggari (Paphos). During the winters the rest are closed.

Cyprus Rough Sea

Apartments and holiday homes

If you stay for a long time the best option is to rent an apartment or house. The offer is varied and you can find one both on the beach areas and in the countryside. It’s all about finding the one that best suits your taste and budget. Many times this option is more luxurious and cheaper than staying in a hotel.

Youth Hostels Cyprus has agreements with the Hostelling International association that provides housing for young tourists. There are three locations on the island, in Farmagusta (east), Larnaca (southeast), Paphos (West). All have recreational areas, restaurants, shops and bars. They are a good option if you do not have a big budget.

With a range of stunning destinations and various luxurious liners to choose from, going on a cruise is truly the experience of a lifetime. Here are 4 of the top cruising destinations for the 2013 season.

Cruise

Caribbean

Summer in the Caribbean is packed with travellers all flocking to visit this stunning cruising destination. If you prefer not to compete with the crowds, try taking a cruise between January and February before the summer season has truly kicked off. The string of islands that make up the Caribbean all offer something unique for travellers, from the glamorous casinos of Aruba to the adventurous options in Jamaica.

You can plan your itinerary to create the perfect cruise for you, whether you want to soak up the sun on the beach while sipping a cool cocktail, or go for a hiking exploration to discover the rich array of flora and fauna. The Caribbean has long since been a popular cruise destination, and it continues to defend its title in 2013.

The Mediterranean

Travelling to the Mediterranean conjures up images of rich coloured buildings soaking up the hot sun, lush vegetation sprawled along the coastline and miles of perfect beaches and stunningly clear waters. However this isn’t just a daydream; the Mediterranean is one of the most popular cruise destinations in the world, and for good reason.
