What to do in Rome for New Year’s Eve 2012 and the coming days

If you pass through Rome in this period, here are a couple of ideas with the activities not to be missed! Firstly, enjoy dinner at beautiful restaurants during December 31 of 2012 and secondly take a run at Rome marathon, 10 km around the symbolic places of the city starting from the Avenue of the Baths of Caracalla. Unfortunately entries are already closed (although many will be happy to go and see the sprint starting at 11), while for the non competitive walk of 3 km (with background music) there is no time to register.

At Bioparco 4, 5 and 6 January 2013 are organized days of celebration for the families. Players must wear unicorns while leaders tell legends about the great catches and animals. In the Hall of Elephants is organized the raffle of animals where the guardians give food to the animals in the park.

From December 22, Digit Rome service is active, which allows you to connect to the internet free through 700 access points (for a total of up to four hours a day and after registration). In case of disconnection there is always the free app Capital Rome with the news, archaeological, guides and various multimedia services for tourists.
