Visit Sanremo | Explore the city with guided tours

The city of Sanremo offers some guided tours that allow you to discover in detail its villas, its streets, its gardens and the Casino.

The visit “La Belle Epoque Sanremo” takes place on Thursday and it is a path between houses, churches and hotels built in the golden age. Starting from the Promenade Imperatrice you climb villas for excellence and down to the casino. Upcoming events: 7:21 February 7:21 March. The tour “La Pigna (medieval city)” always takes place on Thursday. Upcoming events are going to be happening during 14 and 28 February, 14 and March 28. The tour allows you to explore the most characteristic corners of Sanremo medieval lanes and squares and then emerge in the gardens overlooking the Gulf.

Wednesday is the time of the visit “Villa Zirio and Santa Clotilde – Case of Saints and Emperors”, which includes the departure from the train station, just to admire the beautiful villa Rothembourg, today the residence of the bishop, then Santa Clotilde villa and villa with Zirio the oldest elevator in Europe. Upcoming tour: 13 and 27 February, 13 and March 27. The guided tour of the rooms of the Casino Municipale di Sanremo, the oldest still operating Italian casino finally allows to know the history of the people who have attended it by visitng the Private room, theater, games room, the roof garden and the former ballroom where 62 years ago was born the most important musical event in Italy. The tours are held every Friday at 9:30 am until 29 March.
