A tourist’s guide to Budapest

To take advantage of your time we recommend that you go to different attractions depending on your areas and sectors. For example on the Hill of Buda you can find the Fisherman’s Bastion, Matthias Church and the Buda Castle so you can cut access trails while walking around the Hill.

This part could be called old city of Buddha and has always been a central area of high cultural and strategic value. You can walk through the trail that is located next to funicular or by stairs you can see the side of the Chain Bridge. The third way is through the Funicular which runs from 7:30 am.

In the same city you can find on the same route the City Park, the Széchenyi Spa and Heroes Square. The first also known as the Park is the main Városliget visiting place for the aquincenses (inhabitants of Budapest) to relax and hang out. You can reach it through the metro line 1.

The Spa is one of the largest thermal baths in Europe and has 15 pools, 3 are outdoors and 12 smaller are located within the site. They open their doors from 6 in the morning. Finally on the road you will find the Plaza of Heroes, one of the largest in Budapest with statues commemorating the seven tribes that founded Hungary.
