Five Beauty & Fashion Conferences Worth Travelling to This Year

For those working in the fashion or beauty industry, MATA Glasgow have narrowed down some wonderful beauty and fashion conferences that are well worth travelling to this year – or putting into your diary for next year, should you need to plan well ahead.

1: The Makeup Show

The Makeup Show is running a number of 2-day conferences in key locations across America from September 15th & 16th in Orlando, to November 10th & 11th in Los Angeles this year, with more dates already scheduled for 2019. These conferences are truly a must-see event for artists in all sections of the the fashion and beauty industry.

2: Cosmoprof Conference

Cosmoprof is held annually in North America and is especially aimed at the beauty industry. The conference also offers other useful talks and educational sessions to help you market your business that cover social media marketing and other successful sales techniques.

3: Decoded Fashion & Beauty

Decoded is one of the most well organized events you could attend for all the latest fashion and beauty industry news, insights, research and new products launches. They have fantastic keynote speakers and impart lots of learning opportunities for attendees. This year’s summit is planned for New York on November 2nd, 2018.

4: Fashion Tech Forum

Usually held in New York, the Fashion Tech Forum showcases in Los Angeles on November 12th, 2018. This is the place to be to show your new beauty products or equipment to potential buyers. There are many influencers attending this year, including leading beauty magazine editors that could be interested in featuring your product.

5: Glossy

Glossy is aimed at the retail side of the fashion and beauty industry. Their events are incredibly informative and their regular publications are a must-have source of information. This year’s Glossy Forum is to be held in New York on October 1st, 2018. This is a conference that is packed full of useful information and shouldn’t be missed!
