Discover the medieval town of Conques in France

Phillip Cappe, while living in New Zealand, leads us to the discovery of one of the many jewels of France. Starting from a French department in the Midi-Pyrénées region, we set off to discover the medieval village of Conques through photographs taken by Phillip.

Slate roofs, half-timbered houses, ancient walls, tall steeples sharp, great nature and a lush forest to protect this paradise from the rest of the world. Conques is presented as one of the top architectural medieval towns. There is a Romanesque church with beautiful stained glass windows, church relics and precious furniture.
