Pesca Salada bar in Barcelona

There is a small bar which is inconspicuous but with so much character and a very original decoration in Barcelona. Here’s my presentation of Pesca Salada, a place of only 15 square meters that however encloses a whole world of cocktails stories. It is located in Calle de la Cera where few tourists generally arrive and where you can find everything cheap, from the dishwasher for less than two hundred euro to a bollywood style haircut for less than five.

Years ago it was a typical Catalan shop where you could buy olives, sardines and canned variety. The current owner of the bar who is a frequent visitor to the place as well, decided to make a cocktail bar which specializes mainly in gin and tonic.

In fact you can find an extensive menu which also explains the origin of the various drinks proposed and the composition of the gin cocktails but the dim lights with spare decor and atmosphere of total relaxation are what make Pesca Salada a bar where you can spend one or more nights.
